I fielded a call from a reporter who wants to conduct interviews with the delegates, but Mark Brewer and the MDP haven’t actually released such a list, notwithstanding promises to do so.

I told the reporter I didn’t have the list either, although some of the names have previously been posted to Michigan Liberal.  I offered to start this diary, hoping that by the efforts of people scattered all over the state that we could fill in all fifteen districts.

In other words, this is a do-it-yourself post, with all the information to be provided by the readers, for themselves.

    MDP have refused to release them to me, too!
    I’ve also requested the lists of per caucus attendees at the April 19th conventions, with an indication of the number of Clinton and Uncommitted delegates. Sylvia Perkins (in Mark Brewer’s office) has refused.
    I’ve also requested the minutes of the various central/executive committee meeting discussions about delegate selection over the past year, whenever votes were taken. Sylvia Perkins has failed to respond.

    This is not an open and transparent process.

    Yes – but now you should post what you know.
    If you post the results from your CD, we’ll be 1/15th done – and everybody will have it.

    15th District- 3 uncommitted allotment
    Christina Montague, Derrick Jackson, Lynne Schwartz, all for Barack. Go Michiganders!
    Check michigandersforobama.com for the other districts. It understates Barack’s strength, since several other “uncommitted” delegates, not affiliated with the informal Michiganders effort, are probably also reliably pro-Obama.

    For whatever it’s worth, here in the 9th CD…
    Aldo Vagnozzi and Doris Toney are definitely Obama supporters.
    Cathy Martin was the UAW pick–I believe she said that she’s personally for Obama but will go with whoever the UAW ultimately goes with.

    My estimate at the time was
    for the Uncommitted, 30 reliably Obama, 5 Unity but said they were for Obama, 1 truly uncommitted.
    Anyhow, anyone wants to interview me, here I am!

    The MDP has maintained from the begining that it is up to the District Chairs to release names/lists … the MDP never promised to provide anything.
